Position Overview

Bartenders at Jed’s BBQ & Brew play an important role in creating a great experience for guests. This position is responsible for preparing beverages, serving customers at the bar, and supporting the service team during busy shifts.

Bartenders must be able to work efficiently, maintain a clean workspace, and provide friendly and professional service. This role requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to interact with guests in a positive and welcoming way.

This position offers the opportunity to earn tips in addition to base pay, making strong customer service and hospitality skills key to success.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail when preparing beverages

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

  • Professional and responsible approach to alcohol service

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous bartending or bar service experience

  • Knowledge of common drink recipes

  • Experience with POS systems

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards

  • Provide friendly and professional service to bar guests

  • Verify identification when required for alcohol service

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area

  • Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed

  • Process orders and payments accurately

  • Work closely with servers and kitchen staff during busy service periods

  • Ensure responsible beverage service at all times
